So, I was playing around with logos and stuff, and a silly one for this site just happened to come up. But I couldn't leave it at that, oh no. By the time I was finishing up, I realized I was following the Strong Bad School of Logo Design. Without the fangs, of course. Fangs are silly.
Oh, sure it has some problems, and it isn't going to take over this site's logo any time soon, but its gotta be worth something. Anyone? Anyone?
That is to say, anyone need a molten-plexiglass logo? I might be able to hook you up. Even with not so silly designs.
Gah, sorry for the lack of updates; it's taken me a goddamn week to figure out how to post multiple images in a Drupal post. No, it shouldn't be that hard... but every freakin' thing I try seems to either break or make it twice as hard to do what I want to. Anyway's, I've finally figured it out, I think.
So, to initiate it, here are some Sasha's from my sketchbook:
Goth-y girl. Comic-y style. Was happier with it a few weeks ago... finally got back around to scanning/inking... eh, not so sure any more. Whatever.
Pencil drawing attached as well.
A quick sketch of a vixen I drew during a baseball game and then digitally inked. Some issues, but I like it.
Just a sketch of a character that I inked up on teh computer a good while ago. She doesn't have a name yet, or really a personality beyond what you see here. I've used her in one or two comics; nothing too interesting. Maybe I'll get around to inking and posting them someday.
This is more of a test than anything else, just to have something to put into my Drawings category. It's maybe six months old, so my style has progressed signifigatnly since then, but I like how these came out, so I figured it'd be a good inaguration onto the webpage. I believe I was using a number of other images for inspiration and scale, but I'll be damned if I can remember what they were...
Anyway, one was inked with a normal pen, the other by brush pen (one of my first times using it). One of these days I'll go back and digitally ink them to see how that looks. Oh, yeah, and the shading is pencil on top of the ink.
