Pittsburgh Penn Station

A view of the beautiful front of Pittsburgh's Penn Station. I wish I could go back and do this again... I'd make sure to fill the gaps and try to do some multiple exposures in order to get better lighting.

Colleen Laying Down

Wow, I haven't updated in forever! Whoops!

Well, let's not speak of it too much... and let me start with the first drawing in my current sketchbook! I switched to drawing only in ink a long time ago... shows how long it's been since I've updated. Whoops. Well, I will try to rectify that!

So here is Colleen. Way back when I did this, it was my first drawing in a little while, and in that regard, I think it came out really well!

So, last summer (sue me, I haven't updated in a while!) I went to Pittsburgh. So enjoy a beautiful view of the skyline!

Gorgeous city.

Muf...fin?

Muf...fin?

Had this idea the other day when toasting an English muffin... how would best pony react to one?

I can't say I'm super happy with how it came out... but go easy on me, it's my first Derpy! I felt compelled to shade it; I think it made it look a little better.

The Process (20% Cooler)

First is the raw drawing; a quick sketch in blue pencil and then gone over with ink.

Next is the line drawing, removing the blue line and adjusting the drawing either via levels or the threshold tool.

And then all that's left is the coloring.
