A Sasha

A Sasha

So, I drew a really quick anthropomorphic Sasha. Haven't drawn her in a long while, so this was fun! Wasn't crazy about the eye when I finished, but in retrospect it's not bad at all, it's just not what I had in mind. I still like it.

Racoon in a Dress

Racoon in a Dress

Now this is more like it. Love this pic. Sure, the face isn't *perfect*, but it's much closer to what racoons look like! I think it would look more clear colored. Either way, the body came out wonderfully.

You know, that sounds really dirty or evil when you word it like that... maybe you should disregard that last sentence...

Trying to draw a Racoon

Trying to draw a Racoon

Trying to draw a racoon. It's... okay. Really frustrating was that I came back to finish the tail later, and I'm not sure it came out too well.

Still, it's not terrible or anything.

Coffee and Colleen

Coffee and Colleen

Here's Colleen drinking coffee.

Not super happy with this one; proportions are all wrong. But practice is always good.

80's Rox

80's Rox

Sweatshirts and visible bras seem so 80's! Love the way this came out.

Maybe she should be listening to some Paula Abdul? On second thought, never mind...

Collie Scout

Collie Scout

Okay, if I may, I think this turned out awesome. I have to admit upfront that I got the outfit and pose from another drawing which, at the moment, I cannot find to attribute (sorry, artist! If you see this, drop me a line so I can credit you!) It was an experiment in clothing (worked great!) and body pose (worked pretty good!).

Besides, it's totally something Colleen would wear. For Halloween or something... I don't think she'd actually want to be sailor scout all the time...

But I'd certainly watch this TV show!

Roxanne in a Trenchcoat

Roxanne in a Trenchcoat

It's funny, when I drew this, I didn't like it. But now, I think it came out really well. I think it's because I didn't have a clear vision when I started, just a rough idea (I saw a trenchcoat, and I wanted a different facial expression). And it all worked out pretty well, if you ask me.

For Naiomi

For Naiomi

Here is what I've been practicing my cats for! Another friend at my local coffee shop wanted a drawing, and she wanted a lioness. Which was great, because as you've seen, it's given me a chance to expand my repertoire a bit!

Quite happy with this one, particularly the hands and clothes.

Lithe Cat

Lithe Cat

Cats should be lithe and skinny, right? I think I got a little carried away here...

I'll be honest, I'm not super happy with this. It has it's flaws. But if you never try new things, new things you will never achieve.

I... think?

Lioness

Lioness

As I said earlier, I've been working on my cats for a project. So, here is a lioness!

It's kind of funny how, without color, it's hard to tell a lion from any other cat. But maybe that's just my inability to grok drawing cats correctly yet.

Did quite like the way this came out.
