The cup, she is too big!

Also, note the date: finally into this year's drawings!

Roxanne Riding the Train

Roxanne Riding the Train

Weird but very fun pose... she's supposed to be hanging on to the side of a moving vehicle, perhaps a train.

I love the goggles.

Wow, I haven't updated in forever! Whoops!

Well, let's not speak of it too much... and let me start with the first drawing in my current sketchbook! I switched to drawing only in ink a long time ago... shows how long it's been since I've updated. Whoops. Well, I will try to rectify that!

So here is Colleen. Way back when I did this, it was my first drawing in a little while, and in that regard, I think it came out really well!

So, last summer (sue me, I haven't updated in a while!) I went to Pittsburgh. So enjoy a beautiful view of the skyline!

Gorgeous city.

Muf...fin?

Muf...fin?

Had this idea the other day when toasting an English muffin... how would best pony react to one?

I can't say I'm super happy with how it came out... but go easy on me, it's my first Derpy! I felt compelled to shade it; I think it made it look a little better.

Third times the charm. I can find problems if I look for them, but I have to say I really love how this one came out! It was one of those drawings that when I finished my very rough blue pencil outline, I said to myself, "Wow, that's good, now don't screw it up!" Yeah, no pressure and all that. Also gave me a lot of practice with my coloring skills. I like ponies for that reason, simple, bright colors make my life easy. Not sure I like the purple tuft on top of her mane; the show usually only gives her three colors above her ears, but I, well, I put four. Thinking of shifting every color up one, and placing a green stripe on the bottom. Need to think about it.

But I'm rambling. As with before, ink on paper then cleaned and colored digitally. If you're interested, click here to check out the process! (Well, I think it's fun, anyway...)

Twilight Sparkle, doing Magic

Twilight Sparkle, doing Magic

My second colored pony attempt. Getting closer. Like a lot of the color and lighting effects, but I still am not 100% satisfied with the pose ('tis a bit of a difficult angle, what with them being usually drawn only as 2d characters).

Still, it came out okay, but not my favorite. Not yet, anyway.

Fluttershy (Pony Attempt #1)

Fluttershy (Pony Attempt #1)

So... I've been a Pony fan for a long time now. I am a brony, except for the fact that no matter how many times I hear it is a gender neutral term I have trouble using it to describe myself. But I don't wanna get into that discussion now!

Anyways, I went to Bronycon, and it blew me away. I left so pumped; it was hard to sleep the next few nights. But then it hit me; I draw a good bit, so why not ponies, too? And, to that end, here we are!

Forgive me for not updating sooner. I have to scan my sketchbook; I've been working exclusively in ink instead of pencil but haven't gotten around to scanning those images yet. Sorry!

Anyway, this is one of my first pony attempts, so take it as such. Ink on paper, scanned, and colored in Photoshop. Didn't come out great, in my opinion, but that's what practice is for!
